Well guys, this has happened to me many times. Knowing a
device name and installing or looking for its drivers are not easy. How much
more of when windows puts that big exclamation mark on a device and says
UNKNOWN device? It becomes a very big problem. Just follow the instructions below
to facilitate the installation.
Open the Device manager in Windows. There are many ways to
do that but the easiest is to right-click on My Computer and take “Manage” then
choose Device Manager.
You will easily see the device with yellow exclamation mark
on it.
You will need to look for the hardware IDs of the device. Right
click on it and choose “Properties”.
Choose the “Details tab” then click the ‘’Properties” and
choose hardware IDs
You will see some strange numbers. You can select all of
them and search for it on Google.
Bingo….Google will just give you the age for the drivers for
your device.
