Nowadays, cable connections are
gradually fading out, giving room to wireless connections, which are mostly
protected or encrypted. To be connected to these wireless networks (wlan) and
have a free internet connection, you will need to break down the encryption(hacking).
Breaking any encryption involves knowing a few things.
First, you have to know that there is an encryption scheme. Secondly, you must know how encryption works.
The hacking stuff is very easy with linux, and more
difficult in windows. But here I will show you how to hack on windows.
First thing is to look whether your network wireless
card is compatible with the program am going to use(the easiest). Google
commview for wifi and download it. Install it on your pc and then launch it. It
will change the default driver of your card by it own drivers. If your card is
compatible with commview, it will change. But if not, then you will have to
change your card. Most atheros chipset cards are compatible.
Secondly, Google aircrack for windows and download it.
It should be a .zip file.
Thirdly, launch the commview. Launch the detection to
permit the program to detect all the wireless networks in range, then select
the one you want to hack. Then start capturing the packets. when the packets reach
like 1 000 000, you can export it to a .CAP file.
Fouth, unzip your Aircrack.zip file and go to bin
subfolder, then open Aicrack from there. Once it's open, brows for the .CAP
file previously saved in commview and the open it. A cmd screen will open asking
you to choose the index number of the network you want to crack. If the network
is 1 on the list proposed by aircrack, just type 1 and press enter.
Lastly, just wait aircrack to decrypt the packets to
give you the password. if it's not possible, it will ask you to collect more
packets. But in the contrary, it's going to say KEY FOUND! by giving uou a
series of numbers + letters seperated by colons ":" as shown below

To
use the key, just remove the colons and then copy the key to the placed
when asked if you are trying to connect to the network.
